At All Saints CE Infant and Nursery School we are working in partnership with the Mental Health Support Team as part of the Ashfield Trailblazers.

They can offer:

  • Specialist Practitioner
  • Mental Health Nurse
  • Cognitive Behaviour Therapist

Support Your Child’s Mental Health

Shout offer 24 hour, 7 days a week helpline for you to discuss your child’s mental health needs.

Mind offer information and support for you and your child.

Place2Be is a children’s mental health charity with over 25 years’ experience working with pupils, families and staff in UK schools.

Hope Again is the youth website of Cruse Bereavement Support. It is a safe place where you can learn from other young people, how to cope with grief, and feel less alone.

Support Your Mental Health

Mental health is just as important as physical health and at All Saints we want to support our families just as much as our children.  Here are some websites that you can visit if you would like some support with your mental health.

A good place to start is by vising your GP and discussing with them how you are feeling. Home Start is another great place to go to for support with family Mental Health.

Mental Health Support Team

They are an early intervention mental health and wellbeing service in schools aimed at providing support for children, young people and families around low-level emotional wellbeing needs, such as anxiety, low mood, managing emotions, and sleep. They link in directly with Nottinghamshire CAMHS teams and provide in school sessions to promote positive mental health. Their work is delivered on a 1:1 and group/workshop basis.

Child In Mind

Anna Freud have produced a series of expert podcasts to help parents understand and manage child and family mental health problems.

Mental Health Support Team (MHST) Children’s emotional health and wellbeing workshop for parents and carers (primary age)

This one hour, interactive workshop aims to provide parents and carers with an understanding of common mental health difficulties in young people. We will explore common mental health difficulties such as anxiety and depression, and how these might present in school and at home. We will also explore how you can support a young person’s mental health and what the MHST may be able to offer.

This MS Teams workshop will be offered three times throughout the academic year, giving parents multiple opportunities to attend. The dates are below.

10th October 2023       time 6-7.15 pm

20th February 2024     time 6-7.15 pm

14th May 2024             time 6-7.15 pm
